Mozambique was one of the first World Links countries. World Links worked with the Ministry of Education, University Eduardo Mondlane and the IDRC Acacia project to connect all secondary, technical, and teacher training colleges to the Internet. Four educators from each school participated in computer literacy training workshops and the first World Links pedagogical training module in September 1998.
