How World Links Creates Change:

Teacher Professional Development Training: Initiates a change in the learning environment, encouraging teachers to become facilitators of student-centered learning, thereby empowering students to open their own doorways to information and improve their educational outcomes

Monitoring and Evaluation: Since the founding of World Links in 1997, the organization has been the subject of multiple in house and inderpendedent evaluations of programs.

Youth Collaboration: stimulates critical thinking, builds individual skills and capacities, and creates cultural understanding by allowing students to overcome geographical boundaries, cultural differences, and language to work with peers around the world

Telecenter Program: converts school computer labs into revenue centers to sustain and expand World Links’ programs while empowering local communities with access to technology and the Internet

Connectivity: facilitates access to hardware, software, and technology in communities where insufficient infrastructure is a barrier to teachers implementing other components of the World Links program

ICT in Education Policy: In the past year World Links has held three policy seminars with Ministers of Education. One of the goals of the organization is to put ICT into national eduation policy to insure the sustainablity of the project.
